Because water does not evaporate as quickly as alcohol when exposed to heat, this emulsion will retain its strength and won't bake-out during the baking process, resulting in foods with a more robust red velvet flavor, color, and aroma. This versatile emulsion is ideal for creating hassle-free red velvet cake, cookies, muffins, and bars and can even be added to waffle and pancake batter to create specialty breakfast items. Or, use it to create a signature red velvet latte or mocha in your coffee shop! No matter how you choose to use it, this emulsion is sure to become an essential ingredient in your kitchen.

This emulsion makes it easy to create a classic red velvet cake with minimal prep work! For each 8" to 9" cake or 12 cupcakes, simply mix in 1 tbsp. of this emulsion into your prepared batter to achieve a bright red color and irresistible flavor. It works well in devil's food cake, chocolate, or white cake batters. Due to its high water content, this emulsion is not suggested for flavoring chocolate or hard candy. For added benefit, this emulsion is packaged in a BPA-free, recyclable PET plastic bottle.
