How do I care for my down products?

Following careful and specific instructions, you can maintain the high quality of these premium linens. First, ensure that you do not mix products and materials as it will cause fabric damage. Keeping linens clear of the floor is recommended, as floor stains are difficult to remove.

Next, shake out all the linens before adding them to the washing machine and only load to 70-75% capacity. Separate dark linens from light linens, and wash them with a high quality, mild detergent to swell the cotton fibers and release the dirt. Wash and rinse in cold water on a gentle cycle to maintain the quality of the down product. A temperature between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit is recommended. Do NOT dry clean, bleach, iron, or steam these products.

Tumble dry the linens at low heat (not exceeding 131 degrees Fahrenheit). Always check to see if a treated stain was removed after laundering and before ironing, as the heat will set the stain. Be sure not to overfill the dryer or run it longer than necessary, as over drying can cause scorching, loss of brightness, and a harsh feel. It is important to maintain efficient door seals and clean lint filters in the dryer. Prevent creasing by using a cool down stage at the end of drying. Do NOT use fabric softener.

Will this product shrink?

All linens will experience some shrinkage. Polyester blends may shrink less than 100% cotton. To minimize shrinking, we recommend laundering in warm water and drying on low to medium heat.
