We made chili with these today. We normally use Goya beans, but those are not certified organic. Therefore it was important to us that these Furmano's beans were. We do notice a difference in taste. It is a more earthy flavor, which normally happens when you switch from mainstream to organic foods. It was definitely a lot easier to open one large can of Furmano's beans, than it was to open 6 cans of the old stuff. We also rinse the beans to get rid of gas-causing air bubbles in them. These were just as easy to rinse out as our old product, which was not organic but cost more money. I think this is a good choice to switch to, and eat healthier.
