With three times the scale dissolving potential as standard citric acid, this cleaner has potent cleaning power while also being easy to work with. It contains no noxious fumes, and will not burn you or ruin clothes should some of it get onto you. It is environmentally responsible, with a natural, non-toxic, phosphate-free, and biodegradable formula.

It is also safe to pour down drains if it needs to be disposed of. Because of this, it can be stored and handled without taking precautions that would otherwise be necessary with acid-based cleaners. It also means that there is no need to worry about any damage being done to rubber, plastic, or metal inside of Follett ice machines as long as it is used per included directions. The concentrated liquid is quick and easy to mix with hot water with no measurement required. Each 8 oz. bottle can make one gallon of solution.
