This particular filter is designed to work as a postfilter on select Everpure reverse osmosis (RO) systems to reduce particulates and chlorine / chloramine taste and odor in your water supply by using a carbon block cartridge design. This ensures that your water passes on a desirable taste and smell whether you're using it in recipes or making ice. It carries a size rating of 5 microns and the flow rate is 1 gpm. It has a capacity of 3,000 gallons, a 10 - 125 psi pressure rating, and an operating temperature range of 35 - 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
