As the flow of water is gradually slowed by the internal baffles, lighter than water substances like grease accumulate inside the trap above the static water line.
The Dormont WD-4 grease interceptor is built to last, with a body made of 11-gauge cold rolled steel. The removable grease accumulating cover and baffle assembly are secured to the grease trap's body with a center mounted hex head and a gasket seal.
The Dormont WD-4 grease trap has a grease capacity of 8 lbs., a flow rate of 4 GPM, and may be recess mounted or floor mounted.
