Dinex DXCBE23 Details
Serve cold food cold with the Dinex DXCBE23 gray insulated cool base for 9" plate. Insulated with a solution of 30% propylene glycol / 70% water, this base maintains cold food temperatures for up to 90 minutes when used with a Dinex insulated dome or up to 60 minutes when used with the Dinex DXEC0907 clear dome.
This base is great for serving salads, sandwiches, desserts, and other chilled dishes at proper temperatures. Its gray color quickly identifies it as the base for cold items, and its quick freeze time makes it available for use at multiple meals per day. This base's sturdy, plastic construction is warp and crack resistant, making it an essential component of meal delivery service at your hotel, healthcare facility, or retirement community.
For best results, leave the cool base in the freezer until right before use, pair with a chilled china plate, and top with a Dinex insulated dome. Longer hold times are possible by freezing the base for up to 8 hours. The starting temperature of the base also affects hold times.
