Ready to Brew
This coarsely ground coffee is made with medium roast beans and is specially formulated for making cold brew coffee. It is crafted in small batches to ensure its well-balanced, subtly sweet flavor is achieved. Thanks to its slow brewing method, cold brew coffee offers a smoother flavor and lower acidity level than traditional iced coffee.
This product can also be used for brewing hot coffee, too! Because it's coarsely ground, it's perfect for use in French presses and coffee urns.
Easy Preparation
1. Place a filter inside of a beverage dispenser according to instructions
2. Add 5 lb. of Crown Beverages cold brew coarse ground coffee
3. Pour 3 gallons of room temperature water over the grounds
4. Steep for 12-24 hours
5. Dilute the concentrate with 3 parts water, milk, or milk alternative to every 1 part of concentrate
6. Mix to taste, and adjust ratio as needed to make your coffee as strong or as weak as your customer prefers
Prepared cold brew concentrate can last up to 2 weeks if stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For hot beverages, mix the concentrate with hot water or milk, or you can even incorporate the concentrate along with syrups and spices into recipes for your signature cocktails, smoothies, frappes, or iced tea beverages.
Degassing Valve
The one-way degassing valve allows for carbon dioxide gasses to be released from the bag and prevents oxygen from entering, thus reducing oxidation. This, as well as the resealable tin tie top feature on the bag, helps maintain freshness and lock in the coffee's flavor and aroma to extend its life.

Suggested Recipe: Cold Brew Martini
1/2 oz. of cold brew coffee
1/2 oz. of vodka
1/2 oz. of coffee liqueur
Ice cubes

Pour cold brew coffee, vodka, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and vigorously shake for 15 seconds and strain the combined mixture into a pre-chilled martini glass. The glass can be rimmed with sugar or cocoa powder for a sweeter beverage. Finally, garnish the martini with coffee beans and enjoy!
