Accurately measure liquid or air temperatures with this Cooper-Atkins 39138-K -328 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit bare tip air temperature probe with a 36" cable. This type K thermocouple probe features a bare tip that is perfect for use in liquids or airstreams. While the probe is not recommended for use in food product, it can be installed in the substrates of surfaces or embedded in products for freezing or heating studies.

When it is used in liquids, this thermocouple probe has a response time of 1 second. In airstreams of 5m/sec, it responds in 7 seconds. It has a temperature range of -328 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring that it is ready for a wide variety of temperature monitoring tasks. It also comes with a 36" long cable that allows the thermocouple instrument (sold separately) to be installed farther away from the tip. The cable has an FEP outer jacket to protect it against damage.
