Designed for the visually impaired, the elderly, and telemedicine, the Cardinal Detecto SlimTALKXL 550 lb. low-profile bilingual talking digital scale both displays the weight and reads it aloud in either English or Spanish. The user simply steps onto the scale, which turns on automatically, and listens for the clear voice to read out the weight. After the user steps off the scale, the scale automatically shuts off to preserve battery life. A set of 3 AAA batteries is included for quick set-up.

Still designed to display the weight for reading, the scale features a large, easy-to-read, 1 1/2" high LCD display that shows up to 4 digits in either pounds or kilograms. This scale features an extra wide platform and a very low profile of 1 7/16" for easy access for all patients. Plus, to help prevent slips and falls, the scale provides traction with a non-skid rubber mat. A set of 5 carpet feet comes standard to ensure accurate readings on any surface type.
