A versatile and highly effective precaution against fires, this Badger Extra 23697 2.5 gallon universal ultra AR-AFFF foam fire extinguisher is an excellent choice for commercial and industrial facilities! With a UL Rating of 1-A:30-B, it is designed for performance against Class A common combustibles and Class B hydrocarbon and polar solvent flammable liquids. It uses an alcohol-resistant type of aqueous film-forming foam (AR-AFFF) that is non-toxic and odor-free. This foam has vapor sealing capability to prevent flammable liquid vapors from reigniting, and it is extremely easy to use and clean up.

This extinguisher has an operable temperature range of 35 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit to effectively work in a variety of climates, while the discharge range of 10' to 15' allows you to safely fight fires from a distance. It boasts an efficient operating pressure of 100 PSI and a discharge rate of .27 lb. per second. This extinguisher's heavy-duty chrome-plated brass valve and stainless steel handle and lever are extremely durable. It also boasts a rugged stainless steel cylinder and base.

This unit has a large, easy-to-pull stainless steel ring pin and a heavy-duty machined and anodized aluminum air aspirating nozzle. This is combined with an easy-to-read nameplate for simple operation in the event of an emergency. To easily recharge your extinguisher, it has a simple hex valve collar tightening ring.
