Since it is cartridge-operated with a specialized high flow design, it can extinguish fires that stored pressure models cannot. With a UL Rating of 40-B:C, it is designed for performance against Class B and Class C fires such as liquid, gas, and electrical fires.

This unit has an operable temperature range of -40 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit to work effectively in a variety of climates, while the discharge range of 15' to 35' allows you to safely fight fires from a distance. It boasts a rugged steel cylinder, and it is easy to use with the pull ring pin. This pin is combined with an easy-to-read nameplate for simple operation in the event of an emergency. This extinguisher has a low-maintenance swivel discharge nozzle for right- and left-handed use.

Both the ring pin and cartridge guard are constructed of stainless steel for durability. The 360 degree welded-on attachment ensures additional strength and corrosion resistance for long-lasting service. This extinguisher features an impressive high flow rate of 2.18 lb. per second and it boasts extended discharge times for effective use. It meets USCG Approval Type B:C Size III.
