A versatile and highly effective precaution against fires, this Badger 22486 5 lb. standard ABC multipurpose dry chemical fire extinguisher is an excellent choice for commercial establishments! This unit uses a multipurpose agent that contains 90% MAP to fight a wide variety of fires. With a UL Rating of 3-A:40-B:C, it is designed for performance against Class A, Class B, and Class C fires for everything from wood and paper, to liquid and gas, and even electrical fires. Its operable temperature range of -40 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit makes it effective in a variety of climates, while its discharge range of 12' to 18' allows you to safely fight fires from a distance.

This extinguisher's machined aluminum valve and plated steel handle and lever are extremely durable. It also boasts a rugged steel cylinder. This unit uses a simple pull ring pin combined with an easy-to-read nameplate for simple operation in the event of an emergency. This unit features an impressive flow rate of 0.39 lb. per second, and it has an operating pressure of 195 PSI. This extinguisher comes complete with a DOT vehicle bracket to meet regulations for your work truck, van, boat, trailer, or other commercial vehicle. It meets USCG Approval Type A Size-II, Type B:C Size-I, and it should be hydrostatically tested every 12 years. It also meets DOT requirements if you wish to mount it on a vehicle (bracket sold separately).
