This Ateco 400 2-piece standard plastic coupler allows you to interchange small / standard-sized piping tips with absolute ease! Even though all reusable bags can accept small decorating tips without a coupler, this convenient item enables you to swap out piping tips without having to empty the contents of your decorating bag, which saves you time and labor.
That said, to use this coupler properly, simply trim your reusable bag before use! However, since canvas bags with a sewed seam cannot be trimmed, they are not compatible with this item. In addition, ridged edges on the ring allow you to easily assemble the coupler to the base with minimal effort. This coupler works best with standard-sized piping tips that have a 11/16" bottom diameter. Ideal for bakeries, cake decorators, coffee shops, and anywhere else you need to decorate baked goods, this plastic coupler will get the job done!

I recently used the Ateco 404 2-Piece Large Plastic Coupler with my Wilton 191007384 Purple Rubber Pastry Bag Ties and was impressed with its functionality for cake decorating. Made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this coupler allows easy swapping of large-sized piping tips (9/16", 5/8", 11/16", and over 3/4" bottom diameter) without emptying the pastry bag, saving time and reducing mess.
Another item we needed for student competitions. This coupler set fits our larger tips perfectly and we are completely satisfied.

This is an easy to use coupler. It fits all of my standard size piping tips. I like these couplers because they have yet to be stained by food coloring. I use them with my cloth and plastic piping bags. I recommend this product if you are looking for easy to use couplers..
