    This little rolling pin has been such a big help in the kitchen. Great price great quality product should last a lifetime. I was surprised at the control I get from this type of rolling pin. I had only used the typical kind with the handles on the side and to be honest never had good results... felt unnatural. This rolling pin is the best!

    Love at first sight and first use!! I've always used bulky rolling pins with screw on handles that eventually get wobbly and fall off. This french style is such a sleek design, easy to clean and solid wood will last a lifetime. I love it! And it's a great price comparing to what's available online.

    I bought three of the these--one for me and two as gifts. Mines gotten a fair amount of use and is holding up well. It's sturdy and a nice size for rolling out puff pastry, pie dough, or pizza dough.

    Don't get me wrong, I do like my tapered french rolling pin. It is very sturdy and smooth. However, I don't really understand why the French decided to make a tapered rolling pin. It works well enough, unless you're rolling something out that is wider than the rolling pin itself.

    I own 2 rolling pins - this and the Ateco straight pin(#19176) and like both. Both work great, but the benefit to French rolling pins over the straight is these give you better control of the dough. The tapered edge is designed to minimize cracking and gives a consistent thickness as the dough is rolled out. As you roll the dough and turn it, the dough's edge maintains a consistant thickness.

    This is a great rolling pin; its very long and sturdy, the wood seems to be of high quality. The taper is slight and very attractive. Looks great and works great. I would definitely recommend this rolling pin to other bakers; keep an eye on your counter/table space though, this is a very long rolling pin.

    This rolling pin allows one to roll dough without producing overly thinned edges. If you've never tried a French rolling pin, give it a shot. You'll be pleasantly surprised. As far a the quality, it's great, nice hardwood and sturdy in the hands.

    I like this rolling pin and enjoy using it. Is of good quality. Lately, I've found it works well for degassing dough more uniformly than by using just my hands. Would recommend.

    This is a fantastic rolling pin! I have been eyeing one similar at a high end kitchen store! This one is a fraction of the price! I must confess that I didn't really get my hopes up because of the drastic difference in price. I was happily surprised at the weight and quality of the rolling pin. Definitely one of my best purchases yet!

    Having used a traditional rolling pin, I was anxious to use one of these French Rolling Pins that I kept seeing on the various food channels. I now understand why they are so popular. This rolling pin is a breeze to use. I have never produced so "even" dough. Extremely comfortable, a lot of control and economical too! Thank you for offering such fine products!

    Fine quality rolling pins. Throw some mineral oil on them to keep the wood from splitting, and they should last a lifetime. They are a bit small, which may cause some problems if you are rolling out pie crusts or something similar to that size, but its a minor issue.

    Excellent french rolling pin, made in Canada. Very good pricing on this item here. I've used to roll out a pie crust dough. Functional design makes it easy to grip and gives smooth results.
