These work as intended: smoothing fondant on a cake. The handles are easy to hold onto and it's great that the edges are sharp rather than rounded. Washes easily.

We love these at our bakery Karma Baker. And keep a few on hand. Perfect quality. They work exactly as expected. As good as Wilton but better price! ;)

This works great at smoothing out the fondant. It is not as heavy as a metal one but that is to be expected. It works great non the less!

I like the Ateco fondant smoother better than my other well-branded one. It glides so effortlessly which is a bonus when you are working with sometimes cumbersome fondant.

This works great for smoothing fondant and it's definitely a must have for fondant covered cakes! I also use this to smooth my buttercream cakes as well, I just lay a viva paper towel on the cake and then use this to smooth it with

This fondant smoother does what it is supposed to, but I have had one or two break on me over the years. They are a decent quality product for a great prices, just be gentle with them.

I own a couple of these and like them. I haven't had any handles snap off like another reviewer, and they have held up well with a lot of use. Easy to wash, and they do what they're supposed to do...smooth the fondant.

You can never have too many fondant smoothers. Since they are so inexpensive, I bought a few to keep on hand. They are perfect for smoothing fondant on a cake.

The handles broke on these. I would highly recommend the stainless steel one. This way you don't have to worry about these breaking. Really cheap

Thank you for the review. We're sorry you did not prefer the plastic fondant smoother. Try this Ateco (August Thomsen) 1313 Stainless Steel Fondant Smoother instead!

Very light weight. The handle is a little small. If you have larger hands it might not be comfortable. The rounded tip is good for getting the fondant smooth right into crevices. Nice tool.

I have 2 of these to use with fondant cakes. They work great! I like that there are both straight and rounded sides as it helps smoothing. I have no problem with the handles unlike other reviewers; they feel comfortable to me. Good product!

A great entry level fondant smoother. Easy to use, and does the job! I havent used any other type, but this seems to be the one that decoraters use in their videos.

I use this smoother with all my fondant covered cakes. It helps create a smooth texture. It also helps smooth a thick layer of buttercream.
