It is constructed of durable 18 gauge 304 stainless steel tubing with a white antimicrobial powder-coated finish. This coating releases silver ions to maintain a sanitary surface, and it boasts a 99.95% effective kill rate for mold, bacteria, mildew, fungus, and yeasts. The coating complies with the JIS Z 2801 test method, which corresponds to the ISO 22196:2007 standard. It is also resistant to salt spray corrosion for additional strength.

With a 1 1/2" diameter, it provides an easy, firm grip for users. This bar securely mounts to the wall for convenient access, and it gives 1 1/2" of clearance from the wall. For safe and sturdy use, it comes with a snap cover to conceal the mounting flange and screws. The 3 3/16" diameter cover is made of 22 gauge 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, providing additional strength.
