This diffuser is made of durable, engineered polymers and stainless steel screws, designed to resist rust, corrosion, yellowing or fading, and mildew. The polymer itself is natively white and therefore without paint, negating the need to repaint this diffuser. The strong design maintains integrity and will not bend or scratch, despite being 50% lighter than its metal competitors.

This plastic cone diffuser is exceptionally easy to install. Free of sharp edges and drop-resistant, mating this diffuser on compatible standard-size air ducts is a worry-free experience. The extra tall 2 3/8" neck with molded-in duct tabs make it easier to affix this diffuser to existing duct systems. This item has a consistently smooth finish and will not show scratches or score marks during install.

The polymer construction of this diffuser contributes to its high-level performance as an air flow diffuser. The plastic is antistatic, so dust and lint won't collect on the diffuser and spray allergens. An R6 thermal-resistant blanket with fiberglass insulation comes attached to the unit, helping to reduce sweating and heat loss. This not only makes the diffuser easier to maintain, but functionally resists mildew and other mold growth on the product.
