Additionally, this warmer comes with a lid that sits perfectly on top of the warmer to protect your food from airborne contaminants. Made from durable ceramic, the warmer with the lid is great at retaining heat to keep tortillas warm and soft during a meal for up to 30 minutes. Use this warmer to serve hot tortillas for tacos or fajitas in your restaurant!

To use this warmer, begin by soaking the lid in water as this will help keep the tortillas moist. Then place the tortillas you need warmed into the warmer one at a time, it fits tortillas that are 7" in diameter or smaller. Now simply put the lid on the warmer and microwave it for about 15 seconds for every 4 tortillas you are warming. If necessary, keep warming them in 15 second intervals until your desired temperature is reached. Plus, since this warmer is made of ceramic, you can follow this same process except instead of microwaving it, you can place it inside an oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until your desired temperature is reached.

Additionally, this warmer can be used for roasting garlic! Oven roasting garlic makes it soft and spreadable with a nice, mild flavor. To use it as a garlic roaster, first halve a bulb of garlic and place it cut side up in the terra cotta warmer. Drizzle the garlic with olive oil and sprinkle it with salt and pepper. Now place the presoaked lid on the warmer and bake in a 400 degree oven for one hour. Now you have perfectly roasted garlic to use in your mashed potatoes, soups, or signature dishes!
