This kit is designed for use with both indoor and outdoor gas appliances and equipment such as gas dryers, heaters, and cooktops. It includes a 5/8" O.D. x 48" long gas connector made of annealed, 304 stainless steel tubing with a yellow polymer coating. This coating offers protection against UV, humidity, and corrosion and enhanced flame and smoke resistance. This kit is designed for stationary equipment only.
The included gas connector has an enhanced SafetyShield coating to improve its safety, durability, and longevity. It also has an antimicrobial additive to prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew. The consistent coverage provides protection along the full length of the connector. This gas connector has a temperature rating of -40 to 150 degrees with adapters and -40 to 125 degrees with valves. It is 100% factory leak tested, and it has a no-neck design to increase flexibility. This kit includes (2) 5/8" O.D. x 1/2" MIP adapters. It also comes with a tube of pipe thread sealant and leak test solution.
