Hook up your gas appliances and get cooking in a heartbeat with the Dormont 1650KIT SnapFast gas connector kit! This kit comes with a 36" long, 1/2" diameter SnapFast quick disconnect and Dormont blue hose to make set-up and tear-down of gas equipment simple. The kit also includes (2) 90 degree street elbows, and full port gas ball valve.

The Safety-Set kit includes two Safety-Set units with adhesive foam tape that let you chock the wheels of your castered appliances to make sure they don't move when you don't want them to and return to the correct position under your hood after cleaning. A thumbscrew hardware pack and 2 isopropyl alcohol wipes are also included.

Connecting your gas equipment with SnapFast is a breeze. Simply slide the couplings into position until they snap into place. There's no need to push, pull, or turn the coupling. To disconnect, push or pull back the operating ring and the coupling will separate immediately, shutting off the gas supply as it does so.

The Dormont blue gas hose included with this kit is made of woven corrugated 304 stainless steel tubing covered in an antimicrobial PVC coating that slows the growth of bacteria, mildew, and mold on the gas connector. The hose also has an internal thermal shutoff feature to protect against dangerous temperatures near the gas supply.

In the event of temperatures higher than 350 degrees Fahrenheit, a small polymer ring in the male end of the coupling melts, and a heavy-duty spring loaded in the coupling shuts of gas supply immediately.
