Hello, my name is Kaleigh Dubring and I’m with the Catctus Mat Company. This is an instructional video on how to properly clean your kitchen mat. I n order to insure the appearance and durability of your kitchen mat, please listen and follow the following instructions in order to minimize wear and tear of your kitchen mat. All you need to thoroughly clean your kitchen mat is warm water, mild dishwashing detergent, a deck brush and a secure rack with which to transport your mats between cleaning and drying. Notice that I was able to easily move all dirty kitchen mats at once as opposed to lifting each mat individually using the Cactus Mat Rack Transporter. Once you have your warm water and mild detergent, be sure to cover all surface areas of the mat using your deck brush. Pay special attention to the holes as grease may tend to build up there. Once you have cleaned both sides of your mat, hang your mat on a secure rack so that you may hose down all remaining soap residue. Folding mats may cause them to crack. You should never put your mat in a commercial washer. You should also never use harsh chemicals such as bleach or a heavy degreaser. Once you’ve hosed off all remaining soap residue, hang your mat so it can dry. Before returning your clean kitchen mats to service, be sure that all greasy floors have been cleaned and any sticky liquids have been mopped up. It is important to clean your mats daily to prevent any kind of grease build up. Take this pan of bacon grease, would you simply run warm water on it and put it away? No. Would you go out and buy a heavy degreasing solution in order to clean it? No. The simple answer is warm water, mild dishwashing detergent and a brush and the grease is gone. I just purchased two of these mats because of a fall one of my employees had that could've been bad. I just put the mats down and they are working perfectly - no more super-slick floors!

These mats work perfectly fine. Great quality, and at a very good price. The comment about food and debris passing thru the large holes...well thats what you want to food, dirt, and debris to go. Under the mat, not ontop of it. Trust me, I have 3 of these, and am ordering 2 more right now.

They are decent quality but the groves that face up allow a lot of food, grime, and dirt to get stuck on, which depends where they are it might be a good thing or bad thing. For us its a little bit of both I've put them in better spots so the servers don't walk on them. I still have a different one's for the servers which doesn't get so sticky or dirty.

These mats work really well in our kitchen. They are light and thin enough to be rolled up and easily moved by any staff to clean the floors. But definitely sturdy enough to minimize strain on my employee's feet and backs.

This mat does the job and is holding up fine, but it has a very heavy rubber odor that even after about 3 months it is still lingering around.

We use these mats on our packaging lines and they are great. I am ordering more. They last a long time and are exactly what I need.
