To use: Place the spaetzle maker over a sauce pan or stock pot of simmering water with the plastic hopper on top. Add your spaetzle batter to the plastic hopper. Then, in a slow, steady motion, move the hopper back and forth, and your spaetzle dumplings will fall into the water.

Great! Easy to use! Sure beats the collander with smaller holes I used the first time I made spaetzle. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to make homemade spaetzle.

Nothing beats my grandmas homemade spaetzle. I got this item to recreate it and it works perfectly. The recipe may not be the same but it works like a charm.

Evenly makes spaetzle that are both uniform and rustic. Using this style of maker is definitely more efficient than the very low tech cutting board method. Well designed and sturdy construction.

The Spaetzle Machine is very durable, easy to clean and use. It has lips that hug the pan you are dropping the spaetzle dough into, freeing both hands to pour in dough and push the device. Great Price too.
