My assistant manager/production manager loves this grater. It stays in his knife kit as he doesn't want just anyone to use it. I am considering buying more.

This grater has lasted us for years. We give it a beating daily. We grate everything fro block sea salt, citrus, fresh cinnamon and chocolate.
Phil H. from Culinary Creations Posted on 05/11/2016
This is a great microplane that comes with a plastic cover and is razor sharp. Perfect for zesting citrus, or grating hard cheeses in no time at all.
Michel L. Posted on 04/11/2016
This grater has a very fine grate. Its rubber handle allows for a good grip without slipping. Its not easy to clean so I recommend soaking it before washing.
Michigan F. from Go cheez Posted on 04/09/2016
This is super sharp, great for citrus zest, chocolate and cheese. Cover is very useful to keep it safe. Works just as good as the more expensive name brand ones.

Can not go wrong with this. No matter if it's grating a hard cheese or zesting a key lime this grater does the job perfectly.
Paul B. from United Homes & Properties LLC Posted on 02/12/2016
These graters are fantastic! The graters with the fine blades are perfect for grating things like whole nutmeg (so much easier than old fashioned nutmeg graters!) and zest. Honestly they have thousands of uses, we use ours many times a day
Helen H. from Vincent's restaurant Posted on 01/27/2016
Was looking for a newer and easier way to grate fine things. This unit holds up well and the soft hand helps keep it stable while in use.
Steven G. Posted on 01/10/2016
A very nicely made grater for all around use. I have used it for things like garlic, ginger, and even cheeses. It is just the right size for all kinds of things and a fraction of the cost of the Microplane brand. I plan to finish purchasing the rest to build the set.
Andy T. Posted on 11/28/2015
This grater is exactly what I was looking for. It is very sharp, and the blade is fine enough for hard cheeses, nutmeg, etc. The grip is very comfortable as well.
Sonia U. Posted on 10/12/2015
Great for finely zesting citrus and other items, this grater is a must have for bakeries and anywhere where a nice citrus dash must shine through. Good construction, very sharp, lookout!
Michael P. from Mike's Mindful Plate Posted on 04/21/2015
This is a good basic grater. It has fine holes, like a microplane, and seems to be fairly well made. There is some give to it, and the cover snaps on (Instead of sliding on), but overall it is a good product for a great price.
Matt M. from Home Use Posted on 03/22/2015
I laughed when I looked at this object my first time. I cannot get anything to grate on here, the blades are too fine. I was hoping to use this to replace my other 'less fine blade' grater, but this object is useless.
Daniel S. Posted on 03/09/2015
Thank you for your review, Daniel. We are sorry this grater has not suited you. Since this grater is made to shred things very finely, it is better suited for some things more than others. Please consult this Blade Grater Guide to know what food items this grater works best with.

I love the soft grip grater! It's awesome for lemons, limes, cheese. I would recommend this wonderful product. It's a great price as well. The soft grip makes it easy to use.
Elizabeth P. from Southern Slice Posted on 02/08/2015
This grater is awesome when grating lemon and orange rinds to using in cakes & frosting. The handle is durable, and the blade is easy to clean.
Diane K. Posted on 01/29/2015
This is a super sharp grater. It is sharper and it grates a little bigger pieces than the standard Microplane. A great value, would purchase again.
Lauren R. Posted on 01/14/2015
I love this grater. i have been looking for a good grater (like the ones they use on cooking shows). This one fits the bill at a great price.
Brenda K. Posted on 01/14/2015
Seems very sturdy and has already made it's way through many lemons, limes and garlic cloves (and thumbs). I love to use it to grate garlic into dishes and will probably order another so I can have one for garlic and one for zest.
Brenna P. from B-Sting's Snacks & Things Posted on 12/08/2014
We purchased these for a children's cooking school and as it turned out, the blades are a bit sharp for our needs. It doesn't mean it's a bad product, just not great for us. It works great on cheeses!
Andrew F. from Bakers Buzzin' LLC Posted on 11/11/2014
Great for zesting and grating hard cheeses. The quality is better than you would find in your retail store and the price cannot be beat.
Reuben A. Posted on 11/09/2014
This grater is obviously a competitor to the now popular microplane; the handle is soft, nicely grippy. I gave this grater only four stars though because for some reason, I have difficulty pulling objects directly down the blade. When I'm grating limes, the limes always want to go kinda diagonally and off the blade. That said, it's definitely a fine blade and I would still recommend this product. I'm probably using it wrong.
Nick H. Posted on 10/05/2014
The grate on this blase is perfect for Asiago and other hard cheeses. It is easy to handle and grate right on top of the dish. Nice handle, nice weight, really happy with this product.
Deborah B. from Miss Debs Posted on 09/15/2014
I just purchased this grater for my kitchen, and we love it! I have rarely gotten to use a brand new, super sharp rasp style grater at work. So I made sure my crew had a good one, and for a grate price. Very versatile and economical. We use it from anything to cheese, chocolate, nuts, or citrus.
Michelle B. from figure 8 brewing Posted on 09/15/2014
As good as the brand name product at a much lower cost. Fine blade is perfect for nutmeg and citrus zest when you don't want the zest to show in the resultant dish
Dean G. from Dino Posted on 03/11/2014
This grater is a wonderful multi tasker. It easily handles zesting and grating, and is comfortable to use. I must for serious bakers, for sure.
Susan K. Posted on 03/03/2014
This grater works well. It's like a MicroPlane grater but a better price! The soft handle makes a big difference when you have a lot of oranges or lemons to zest. We are very happy with this. Also has held up well from all the dishwashing, no rust or anything.
Debbie H. Posted on 02/27/2014
I was honestly concerned about quality, but this thing is excellent. Just a few quick and easy passes around your favorite citrus, and you've got a nice neat pile of zest. You will never again buy pre-grated Parmesan cheese. Careful when cleaning because this thing is sharp
Joseph M. Posted on 12/28/2013
Works great, and is INCREDIBLY sharp. Be careful when using these things. The handle is nice, and non slip, and the blade feels sturdy. These work great for grating, and also zesting fruit!
Joseph M. Posted on 11/24/2013
I spent nearly 5 times as much for the name brand fine grater like this one and it worked great, but after 4 years the blade got a little dull. I ordered this one not expecting it to be as nice but I was very wrong! I am happily surprised at the quality for the low price.
Cheryl F. Posted on 10/01/2013
This blade is really nice, and the handle is good, no slipping. So far I have grated some hard cheeses for my pasta dishes, and it does a great job.
Miia K. Posted on 09/09/2013
A great alternative to the microplane brand. Every bit as useful then microplane but half the price and they are built to last as well.
Christopher D. from Ckd Restaurants, llc. kitchen Posted on 05/20/2013
This grater is a great product. The soft handle makes it comfortable while grating. It is good for getting zest from citrus fruits as well as grating cheese
Anthony D. Posted on 04/17/2013
This is a great grater similar to Microplane brand graters but at a much more affordable price. Holds up well to a lot of use.
Rick M. Posted on 03/23/2013
This soft grip grater is great for getting the zest off of lemons, limes, or oranges, and it's also great for grating your own cheese.
