This Watts Duo-Cloz 1/2" manual washing machine shutoff valve is designed to control the water flow from the hot and cold water supply piping to the flexible hoses feeding a washing machine. This valve can have its water turned on or off with a simple flip of its lever with its ball-type construction, protecting the washing machine parts and hoses from water damage. This avoids the harm caused from a burst washing machine hose, and the water supply to the washing machine should be shut off between uses. Use this shutoff valve to prevent flooding, relieving the hoses of constant supply pressure.

This shutoff valve features a brass body with copper ell dual adapters for 1/2" solder compression connections. The throttling feature helps minimize the shock effect of quick closing washing machine solenoid valves, and the lever can be set in any position to control the water flow. It has a maximum pressure of 150 PSI and a maximum temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
