Last Saturday, WEBstaurantStore.com employees volunteered their time and elbow grease to clean a vacated house for a local organization called Homes of Hope. The Homes of Hope program offers individuals or families a 4 to 6 month stay in transitional housing while they receive mentoring support and financial counseling to help them get back on their feet.
When a family moves out of a Homes of Hope house, it gets thoroughly cleaned – floors, appliances, windows, etc. – to prepare for a new family to move in. In only an hour and a half, our volunteers had the entire house spiffed, shined, and feeling like home.
A "behind the scenes" look at our volunteer day at Homes of Hope:

Christine and Steph get a workout moving the couches to the porch to make room for new furniture in the living room.
Streak-Free Shine

Sam works hard to make sure the house is spick-and-span inside and out.
Dirty Jobs

Our product expert and social media guru, Steve, humbly volunteered for the dirty job of cleaning the bathroom.
Cleaning Crew

In good ol' Lancaster County fashion, volunteers took a moment to pose for a group picture in front of a tractor.
