Top 5 Customer Questions Answered

If you’ve ever used our Live Chat or have ever called in to the WEBstaurant Store, you may have talked to me! I am part of the Customer Service Team at the WEBstaurant store. While working, I realized there were quite a few recurring (and important!) questions customers ask. As a result, I came up with the Top 5 Q&A:

  1. Is ordering through the WEBstaurant store site safe?
    The easy answer is “Of course!” Here’s two quick reasons why you can take my word for it: The search bar at the top of your screen will turn to “https” as soon as you click the CHECK OUT button in the shopping cart. This is an easy way for not-so-computer-savvy people like me to tell that a webpage is secure. Moreover, we are so confident our site is 100% secure that we actually require that all orders be placed online! Fun Fact: even Customer Service Reps like me cannot see your entire credit card number; the most we can see is the first and last four digits!

  2. How long will it take to get my order?
    As a rule of thumb, we ship out items that we stock in 1-2 business days. Then, after it ships out, the transit time to your business or residence varies depending on where you’re located. The FedEx U.S. tracking map will give estimates for delivery time to your area!

  3. Is the item I want to order in stock?
    The best way to see if an item on our site is in stock is to get “Our Item #” (from the right-hand side of the page just under the Add to Cart button) and ask one of us in customer service! We’ll be able to tell you whether or not we have it in stock or if it is a drop ship item.

  4. How much is shipping?
    One of my favorite parts of our site is our Shipping and Handling Calculator. At any point while shopping, with any item(s) on our site, you are welcome to check to see how much shipping would be! All you need to do is add the items you’re interested in purchasing to your shopping cart. Then, right under the Subtotal, you’ll see the Shipping and Handling Calculator. You will want to choose “Business” or “Residence”, enter your zip or postal code, and click “Calculate Shipping”.

    Calculating shipping charges in your cart is easy!

  5. What if I want to Expedite my shipment?
    In the shipping and handling calculator you can also calculate expedited options as long as your order can ship via ground service. When you calculate shipping, it will automatically come up as the ground shipping charge. But, that is actually a drop-down box that will also give you the shipping cost for Second Day Air and Next Day Air, if available in your area.
