“It is a great feeling to show up to WebstaurantStore every day...“

I graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design in the spring of 2016. Roughly a month later, I began working full-time as a photographer for WebstaurantStore in Maryland. This opportunity has given me the chance to grow as a photographer in a professional environment. The photo studio contains top-of-the-line lighting, accessories, and software for shooting and editing images. Throughout the day, I create basic product photos to give a sense of size and shape, as well as staged photos to provide a visual representation of the products in action.

One of my favorite things about WebstaurantStore is the team that I work with. I enjoy hearing different points of view and feedback from other photographers and editors around me while I'm working. They always push me to improve and everyone is willing to help each other out so we can grow as a team. It is a great feeling to show up to WebstaurantStore every day knowing that I am able to make a career out of doing what I love.

After graduating from Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, I was still honing in on my skills as a photographer. Once I accepted a Photographer position at WebstaurantStore, I was able to expand my knowledge in the commercial world of photography and become a more confident problem solver. With this company, I now have an environment where I can truly be myself and be part of a team that strives to be the best.

I take pride in my career as a photographer, as the quality pictures that I shoot are helping customers make confident purchases. Each day provides me with the opportunity to try new approaches, styles, and techniques that will push our online service to the next level.
