I graduated from IUP with a Spanish major in 2010 and started working at WebstaurantStore in 2013 as a Bilingual Customer Solutions Specialist. When I started in 2013 I immediately knew I found a special company with quality employees. I don't know where we find such amazing employees, but we do. Our extraordinary culture starts from the top down. All the team leaders are great to work with. They really bring out the best in their employees.

As for the work I do, I love learning about the restaurant scene and working with product questions each day. There are so many extra perks other than our pay. For example, before work I enjoy using our employee gym and then eating in the employee cafe. The company has even sent me on trips throughout the country to learn about the different product lines we sell. I recommend WebstaurantStore to those who are looking for a quality career.

Jason Customer Solutions Consultant

I graduated from IUP in 2007 with a political science degree and a strong desire to make a difference in peoples' lives. After working for the state government for a few years, I joined WebstaurantStore in 2013 as a part of their team of Customer Solutions Specialists. I was able to use the skills and desires of my degree to grow into a leadership role and become a Customer Solutions Consultant. This role lets me be a resource for other representatives and also involves helping new hires while continuing to help customers. Making a difference with new hires, current reps, and customers: Who wouldn't like that?

WebstaurantStore takes pride in internal growth and looks for individuals that have a hunger to grow and develop. There are many different career paths you can take within the company if you choose. I love the culture and the drive this company has to constantly better itself, and it starts by investing in the employees and helping them grow not just into their job, but to turn that job into a career. After graduating from IUP in 2013, I started working in the insurance field and quickly realized that I had zero passion for it. The days went by miserably slow due to not being challenged whatsoever and my growth path was very grey. I knew there had to be a better fit for me out there and after continually hearing nothing but good things about WebstaurantStore, I went for the job in the Logistics department and I never looked back.

From day one you are treated as a valued member of the team and that treatment never goes away. I feel very spoiled having a gym, dog friendly office, breakfast and lunch available every day and so much more. As WebstaurantStore continues to grow and grow, I'm challenged daily but supported by my manager and team every step of the way. I could not be happier to have found my way to WebstaurantStore and I'm so grateful to be a member of this team.
