Conversion Rate Optimization Analyst (Remote)

Lititz, PA

Job Description

Job Summary

WebstaurantStore, the world’s largest online restaurant supply company, is hiring a full-time remote Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Analyst. In this role, you’ll work across teams to plan, run, and analyze A/B tests—from initial concept to launch—to guide key website optimization decisions.

Remote Work Qualifications

  • Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
  • Access to a home router and modem.
  • A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
  • A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
  • The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
  • Legal residents of one of the following states: (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, and WY).

We only accept W-2 candidates, H-1B sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

The CRO Analyst’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with various teams—design, development, and external stakeholders—to coordinate testing initiatives from ideation through goal definition, implementation, and analysis.
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute A/B tests across e-commerce experiences, including product detail pages, category pages, checkout, and navigation elements.
  • Conduct acceptance testing to validate experiment functionality.
  • Submit and manage tracking requests to ensure data is captured accurately.
  • Build dashboards to monitor active tests and track performance metrics such as conversion rate, funnel progression, and on-page interactions.
  • Create documentation for test results and communicate with external stakeholders to inform site updates and future testing.
  • Leverage customer behavior data, analytics insights, and user experience (UX) best practices to inform future test ideas and optimization opportunities.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Qualifications

Experience

The candidate must possess the following qualities:

  • Critical thinking: Assesses incomplete information, technical constraints, and user impact to shape testing opportunities.
  • Decision-making skills: Interprets test results and applies business context to make well-reasoned decisions in complex testing scenarios.
  • Strong communication skills: Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Is well spoken and confident discussing their work.
  • A strong work ethic: Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and follow-through when managing daily and weekly tasks independently.
  • Curiosity: Brings a natural curiosity about user behavior and performance data, continuously seeking opportunities to learn, test, and improve customer experience.

Education

This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.

Desired Traits & Skills

  • 2–3 years of experience in conversion rate optimization, UX research, project management, or analytics, with a strong focus on e-commerce environments.
  • Experience working cross-departmentally with teams including design, development, content, and procurement.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and utilizing performance metrics to guide decision making.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Looker Studio.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficiency with business productivity tools like Microsoft Office and Teams.
