Social Media Producer

Job Summary

As the Social Media Producer at WebstaurantStore, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brand to life across social platforms. From brainstorming and researching new trends and formats to producing high-quality, engaging video content, you'll help grow our creative footprint and elevate our social presence. In this highly visible role, you may also appear in the content you create. You’ll report to the Social Media Manager and collaborate closely with a team of producers based in our Lititz, PA office.

Responsibilities

Content Ideation and Creation

• Develop, execute, and drive creative concepts for social media content that aligns with our brand identity, social media strategy, and company goals
• Plan, execute, and lead content shoots with the other social media content producer, including pre-production tasks such as storyboarding, location scouting, and talent coordination
• Provide input on strategic enhancements to improve content and discovering unique ways to engage with target customers
• Work with other team members, including designers, set stylists, chefs, product experts, and copywriters to ensure cohesive and integrated social media content

Editing and Post-Production

• Edit and enhance video footage, incorporating graphics, audio/music, and effects to create engaging and shareable social media content
• Ensure that the content is tailored to meet the specific requirements and formats of each social media platform
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate messaging, product placement, and branding seamlessly into the content

Social Media Platform Expertise

• Stay up-to-date with the ever-changing world of organic social media
• Adapt video content to suit the specific audience and functionalities of each social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
• Brainstorm and research new trends, topics, and formats
• Support community management by monitoring comments, messages, and responding to reviews"
• Assist with copywriting and daily management of social media posting
• Track performance metrics and compile basic analytics reports

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Qualifications

Experience

• 2+ years of professional (non-internship) experience in social media content creation for a major business or brand. Hotel, restaurant and/or B2B content creation experience is a huge plus.
• The ability to work full-time (five days per week) in-person at our Lititz, PA office

Education

This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.

Desired Traits & Skills

• Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
• Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
• Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.)
• Experience in using management tools such as Loop, AirTable, or Sprout
• A true team player willing to be flexible and handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Great working knowledge of the social media landscape and content best practices
• Strong portfolio showcasing your previous social media video production work

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Strong English communication skills required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
