WebstaurantStore is seeking dedicated and hardworking candidates with leadership qualities to join our growing company. The leaders and managers within the Distribution Center play a crucial role in developing our business and meeting the purchasing needs of foodservice professionals worldwide.
Our rotational program is designed for candidates interested in pursuing a leadership career in operations and supply chain management. Our 8-week program will teach you about each area of our supply chain and provide functional, practical knowledge of The Webstaurantstore’s goals and initiatives. During the program, you will have the opportunity to experience each segment in our day-to-day operations from inbound to outbound. Some of these areas may include, but are not limited to, receiving, picking, packing, consolidating, shipping, inventory control, and returns. In each training area, you will be challenged to develop new ideas and tools to not only support the growth of our business but also ensure the best service is delivered to our customers. The goal of this position is to prepare you for a leadership role at our McCarran, Nevada, warehouse.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity for a possible leadership position with The Webstaurantstore’s leadership team. In this leadership role, you will be held accountable for day-to-day decisions on the input, movement, processes, and outputs of operations to ensure higher quality, greater inventory accuracy, and improved service. This position is responsible for providing clear, frequent communication to all teams regarding the distribution center's productivity, company policies, and procedures. An essential function of the leadership is to motivate employees to keep pace with our explosive growth while maintaining challenging deadlines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, as well as exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
