Job Summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking an experienced and highly organized IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology projects across our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful delivery of IT initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, security, support, and networking, to drive projects from initiation through completion, aligning technology solutions with business goals. This is a strategic role suited for a proactive leader with strong communication skills, technical acumen, and a passion for delivering impactful results

Remote Work Qualifications

  • Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
  • Access to a home router and modem.
  • A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
  • A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
  • The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
  • Legal residents of one of the following states: (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, and WY).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all technology components of the development and implementation of complex or cross-departmental projects; may manage enterprise-wide projects. 
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how IT project leadership integrates within business standards, supporting processes and practices. Ensure essential procedures are followed and contributes to business standards. 
  • Employ business analysis as necessary to ensure that projects are properly scoped.
  • Develop detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports. 
  • Provide IT strategic direction for projects managed. 
  • Set guidelines for appropriate staffing requirements to meet operational needs and evaluates assigned staff resource performance and provides feedback to management. 
  • Explore tools and resources that a department(s) has implemented and may have value for other departments. Assist in developing plans to roll out additional functionality and/or training for the other areas. 
  • Act as a resource to non-IT departments for IT related initiatives. Work with them to make sure that the solutions they are utilizing are appropriate, secure, and meet the business needs. Coordinate with the appropriate IT groups to assist in rollout of any new solutions. 
  • Act as a resource, when needed, for IT departments in planning rollouts isolated within their group.   

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience managing IT projects, including infrastructure and system integration initiatives
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Strong track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, or Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management principles
  • Understanding of enterprise IT environments, including networking, security, support, and infrastructure

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus
  • ITIL Foundation certification is a plus

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives at once
  • Confident facilitator of meetings and team collaboration sessions
  • Proficiency with O365 required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Loop) 
  • High level knowledge of IT concepts and workflows 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence 
  • Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
