POSITION SUMMARY
The Inbound Material Handler is responsible for receiving and stocking all incoming products through the use of equipment to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Check-in and put away incoming product inventory using forklift equipment and Company systems
· Receive and stock inventory throughout the warehouse to fulfill orders as they are processed to ensure a high level of speed and accuracy
· Follow all equipment safety training, including wearing PPE / harness at all times, never carry passengers without PPE / harness, use the horn when required, maintain safe speeds, and never pull skids directly from bins with an order picker
· Monitor equipment and report any issues in a timely fashion to ensure that equipment is well-maintained and fixed by a trained technician when needed
· Maintain a clean work area that is safe and organized
· Communicate with Receiving Manager to identify any operational issues or concerns in a timely manner
· Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day
· Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
· Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
· Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
· Requires the ability to regularly lift / carry 50-75lbs. and push / pull up to 150lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
