Basic Overview:
The Team Leader is responsible for managing day to day operations for their respective team. They have knowledge of our product line, equipment, warehouse procedures, policies, QA, and our cultural expectations. Using our systems and hardware to address issues through appropriate channels, Team Leader uses their knowledge, understanding, and experience to promote efficient teamwork to best serve our customers. Team Leaders are also responsible for the cleanliness of their work area and immediate surroundings. They hold themselves to the highest company standards and should be in good attendance and safety standing. The Team Leader uses effective written and verbal communication in collaboration with other departments and managers. Team Leaders should be able to utilize DISC to give and receive feedback.
Job Responsibilities:
• Cultivating a solid culture from within their direct team, exemplifying the behaviors of an Ideal Team Player within themselves, and operating as an example of such.
• Training new employees to develop the skill level of the team as a whole, coaching any mistakes and issuing errors as necessary.
• Holding the team and themselves accountable for mistakes that are made, using soft skills and coaching methods to develop relationships.
• Communicating with Department Managers, Assistant Managers, peer Team Leaders and other employee stakeholders when any issues arise, addressing them appropriately and ensuring administrative tasks are not missed.
• Upholding safety practices established in the warehouse.
• Completing other various departmental duties assigned by the management team
Skills/Abilities
• Must be able to push and pull up to 150lbs
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Must be able to constantly bend, reach, climb and stand throughout shift
• Must be able to work a full shift of 10 hours
Shift Schedule
• Monday-Thursday from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM
