POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate processing of inventory throughout all stages of warehouse moves, which entails investigating discrepancies, recording and communicating errors, and identifying damaged items. A Quality Assurance Specialist should have knowledge of product information, warehouse procedures, and maintain a strong attention to detail and accuracy.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Inspect inventory for correct items, quantities, damages, expiration dates, etc.

·        Capture data pertaining to each item for reporting purposes

·        Accurately record and maintain daily data sheets and/or reporting forms for submittal

·        Communicate and record errors in the appropriate manner

·        Complete verification of Purchase Order/Item/Quantities within IDS

·        Maintenance of assigned equipment

·        Professionally communicate within the company to complete all assigned tasks

·        Promote company culture and ensure standards are maintained

·        Additional tasks as assigned


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Must be proficient in collecting, organizing, and processing data on a personal computer and/or handheld device
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Google Docs, and Tablet/iPad
  • Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Must be able to maintain regular and predictable on-site attendance


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be comfortable with heights up to 30ft
  • Must be able push and pull up to 150lbs
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 to 75lbs 
  • Must be able to constantly bend, squat, reach, climb, and stand throughout shift
  • Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures in the facility


WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.



1Bst Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-6:30pm

4th Shift:Friday-Sunday 6:00AM-6:30PM
