The UV cycle is used to aid with the sanitization of the interior of the unit. It is important to remember that it is recommended the interior of the cabinet and coil are cleaned prior to UV operation. With the display reading "Off," press the on/off button once, then press up or down to access the UV cycle. If UV was set to "No" in initial programming, the display will show "UV Not Available." In order to run the cycle, refer to the initial programming chapter in the series to make the necessary changes. If UV was set to "Yes" in initial programming, press enter to select the cycle. Press start/stop to start the cycle. During the cycle, the display will show the date, time, and remaining cycle time. To stop the UV cycle before it is complete, press the start/stop button. A beep will sound for a few seconds and the display will show "Unit in process, do you want to stop?" If you do wish to stop the cycle, press the start/stop button again. The default parameters for the UV cycle are preset at the factory. To adjust these settings for an individual cycle, you may access cycles programming by pressing the start/stop button for a few seconds until a beep sounds. Press up or down to select English, Spanish, or French. Then press enter. Enter the password and press enter. The default password is select, up, down. If you do not wish to change the password, press enter. The letters "PR" which signify programming mode, will appear in the upper left hand corner of the display. Press up or down to select cycles programming then press enter. The letters "CP" which signify cycles programming, will appear in the upper right hand corner of the display. Press up or down to select UV, then press enter. If "No" was selected in initial programming, the display will show "UV not available." The default setting for cycle time is 30 minutes. To change the time, press up or down then press enter. The display will then show the UV screen. To move to another cycle to program, press up or down. Or to end programming, press the on/off button.
