Henri Hutin Cheese Products Are Soft and Spreadable
Henri Hutin began crafting soft-ripened cheeses in 1922 at his plant in Lacroix-sur-Meuse, France. As a master cheese maker, he incorporated expert techniques and his own recipes to create delicious soft, spreadable cheeses. In 1978, the Henri Hutin brand was acquired by the German cheese-making company Hochland. Production was relocated to Lorraine, France where the latest technologies are used to make specialty soft cheeses. Known for innovative and modern practices, the plant uses its own water treatment facility to process any waste water produced during the cheese-making process.
