I love this tea ball infuser. I can create my own tea flavors and the variations i can create are limitless. I also like that it is durable

I love this infuser!!! It is so easy to use and helps make my teas taste a thousand times better. It is about 2 inches so it fits on most cups

This tea ball is very affordable but a lot of teas leaves and small particles escape into your cup. It needs to be used with larger leaf teas. Otherwise it's easy to use.

Tea ball for loose leaf tea.

Easy to use and makes your work a lot easier without having to scoop up all the tea leaves. recommend for use with tea leaves

    from n/a Posted on

The 2" stainless steel tea ball infuser is awesome and is great for holding our loose leaf tea and really steeps well. A great design and very well priced.

    Posted on

The ball comes in handy for an easy removal of spices, as well as for making tea. Keeps bay leaves, cloves, rosemary, peppercorns contained for quick discard. No ‘fishing’ things out in the old way of picking through certain dishes.

    from Residential Posted on

This is a well thought out tea infuser. The ball has a secure closure clasp while the chain is long enough to reach the top of most cups and hook on top. I highly recommend this quality and affordable product for hot tea.

    Posted on

This Stainless Steel Tea Ball Infuser works great for keeping your tea leaves in the infuser and out of your cup! Recommend using a larger leaf tea and not a leaf that is too fine.

I have gotten a few different brands of these over my different orders. They all seem to be about the same quality. Some times they are a little bent and don't close 100% of the way but over all they work great!

Just ravage diffuser, I would buy this again I do fully recommend this dough my hinges got in a little bit sticky it still works and I do like it

Pretty good little infuser for the price. The halves do tend to come apart, but they are easy enough to put back together. It helps if you crimp the little connector a bit tighter.

from Tea and Old Roses Posted on

I find that these infusers often don't come with the hook at the end that hangs them on the cup. I bought several of these any many broke immediately!

I always need tea ball infuser since I have a lot of loose leaf teas, and this 2" ball is a great size, as it holds a lot of tea. It's also very easy to open and to clean.

    Posted on

Place the tea leafs in and drop it in your cup of hot water and you will have a less wasteful alternative to tea bags. So,e people prefer loose leaf tea and this is a nice way to offer it.

from Sweet Pea's Cupcakery Cafe Posted on

    Saves waste

The tea ball is very affordable and is stainless steel, but it is not the highest quality. It can be a little fussy to assemble, and will leak smaller leaves. As long as you intend to use it for light duty (it is inexpensive enough to let a customer keep it after use, for example), and with larger leaf teas or herbal teas like hibiscus, it is a good value.

    from Shavetools LLC Posted on

Not bad but a few smaller leaves did escape during steeping.

With a secure clamp, this tea ball infuser ensures the tea leaves stay inside. It allows the aroma and flavor to enter the water making delicious tea.

This tea ball infused keeps the loose tea leaves inside!

The 2" Stainless Steel Tea Ball Infuser is sturdy and durable. It is easy to clean and the mesh allows the right amount of Tea to steep.

I wanted to use this for infusing spices when making vegetable stock but found it to be a bit too flimsy. The thread easily fall out and hook was broken in only couple uses.

So far, I’ve used this for loose tea brewing, DIY masala chai spices, and containing peppercorns & bay leaves in chicken stock. It held up to all three tasks very well. It can be a bit difficult to clean, but if you open the ball & spray from the outside, the small particles usually come loose.

This 2 inch stainless steel tea ball infuser is a great product excellent value perfect way to infuse fresh loose leaf tea good quality product

2" perfect stainless steel tea ball infuser loaded and ready with loose leaf tea!

Very easy to use tea ball that does a great job holding loose tea. The fine mesh allows for the water to pass through the tea easily on all surfaces. However, don't pack it too tight, as you may find your tea in the middle is dry!

Sometimes we do not like to use tea bags and instead use loose tea leaves. This 2" steel tea ball infuser allows us to purchase tea leaves in bulk and brew fresh tea with ease. Simply open the ball, insert your tea leaves, close the ball, and submerge in the hot water.

from Dig & Serve Posted on

Simply put loose tea in, submerge in hot water, and enjoy!

We sell a lot of these infuser balls but some come in defective. It might be the chain that is loose or the ball won't click on 100%

from Organic Fusion Teahouse Posted on

this 2" stainless steel tea ball infuser is great when making small quantities of tea. I wouldn't suggest trying to make more than 1 or 2 cups because it just isn't big enough

    from MIMI Posted on

    Filling tea ball with Chammomile

using this item requires some TLC as its a bit flimsy. But i wouldnt complain too much considering how cheap the price of the item is.

    Posted on

I've used a ton of these in restaurants, coffee shops, and at home and have never had this much debris come out into my water. It is very inexpensive but I would go with a different infuser unless you will be using it for very large leaves or coffee. The design is nice and it seems sturdy enough, but the mesh holes seem too big.

from E Lou Coffee Posted on

This is great for the single or small amount of tea. If you also want ginger/lemon tea the infuser is large enough to fit ginger and lemon slices.

    Posted on

    wonderful for tea

First of all these arrived squished up. I pushed one back into the round shape n used it. The loose tea leaves were everywhere in the hot water. I took it to be that I may have put too much tea in it. I tried tonight with less tea leaves. Even worse I'm giving it 2 stars bcos it was cheap

I bought these to resell with my teas. They are a good size, well made and good profit margin. Hold up much better than some i have brought before.

The two inch stainless steel tea ball infuser was exactly as I expected. The size is perfect for adding lemons or even cinnamon sticks to any cup of tea. Besides tea, I have used it to hold fresh bay leaves for my seafood stew. This treat is a must have for any restaurant or home chef for sure. Very durable and would recommend.

    Highly recommend!!

I used this infuser a couple times, and it worked very well, but the chain broke off very quickly. I will probably buy a new one and be extremely gentle with it. Slightly disappointed but it's very cheap so I'm not too concerned.

Works like a charm, this thing is so useful, there's a lot of tea out there that comes with lemon because lemon is so common, but NOW I can put my pomegranate slices and lime slices in with it to have my signature blends that appeal to MY tastebuds, thanks you guys!

Item in use: I've placed the steel tea Ball infuser inside a drinking glass, and hooked the metal clasp onto the side of the cup showing demonstration of item, you can also hook onto a pitcher as well.

Great product for the price. It's easy to use and wash. It holds a good serving amount of loose tea, however, the smaller leaves or spices will go through the holes. I love the hook for use with cups.

    Posted on

We use these to serve tea in. Sometimes you have to jimmy with the clasps to get it to close if the herbs or tea leaves get caught in the seal.

from Town Square Market Posted on

This is a classic tea ball infuser with a design that I have used for years. You really can't beat the price! The occasional loose tea bit may escape through the seam but I think that adds to the classic charm and essence of dealing with loose tea.

    from Sugar Buff Posted on

This item is a must have for cooking and making broth and such! Also great for making tea! We recommend. Easy and convenient to use!

    from Queens pizzaria Posted on

Easy to use and clean. The latch keeps the tea ball securely closed while steeping. The hook on the end of the chain fits a variety of mug and cup lip sizes, it holds on to the edge well and does a good job of staying hooked to the edge of the mug. Some small tea leaves do get through the seam where the 2 halves meet, but overall this ball does a good job of keeping all the leaves contained.

    from Magna Posted on

I rated this higher than I really wanted to only because of the price. Quality: Its a simple and cheap tea infuser. There are gaps along the seam which can let some tea leaves or rather tea parts come out. The hinge itself is a very thin metal. Using a pair of pliers, you can fix the seam so that it seals the tea leaves inside slightly better. The only real issue I have with quality is the hinge and the hole that is used for guiding as it just looks ugly. They should of used a larger hole instead of making a small hole and bending the rim upwards(Think of a volcano) Price: its .99 if you buy it alone. Not much you can get for a dollar if your not ordering in bulk. Use: it feels a bit delicate for my liking, but move the clasp and only the ball. Fill with your tea or other choice of beverage close the ball and close the clasp. Then dunk it into some water(can also be used to hold herbs in soup). Due to the slightly deformed rim, it did let some tea leave parts out. On mine, there was a 2mm or 1/16 inch gap. This can be fixed relatively easy with a pair of pliers. How much tea can it hold? each half holds approx. a Tablespoon of loose tea. You want the tea to be able to expand so you only fill one side Besides some quality issues, this is a really good item for the price. If it were more expensive, i would rate this item lower.

Awesome tea ball with very fine holes keep all of your tea in the ball and not floating around your cup. Perfect for loose tea!

    Posted on

It's a very nice items. Helps a lot for the tea. Stainless steel easy to clean. the holder it's very convenient you don't have to drop the whole ball in the water

    Posted on

Nice tea ball. Well made and works well. The generous size makes it easy to fill and easy to close. I love using it with my bulk teas.

from Lily Lane Embroidery Posted on

This product works well with loose tea blends and other larger tea leaves. This is not good for tea bags or items designed to be put directly into hot water. The ball is easy to clean, but the mesh is fragile, so you have to take care when handling.

from 4K9 & Company Posted on

Great tea ball, i use with mint to steep for great tea at a fraction of the cost of bagged tea. Nice quality and design.

These mesh strainers work great for loose tea. They are inexpensive and work well for steaping teas. Easy to clean and reuse over and over again.

    from CMV Posted on

Tea ball infusers are so convenient over using steeping sacks, and this one is such a great price. The only thing is that when closed, it isn't a tight close, so if the tea has small pieces some will likely come out. As longer as it is a tea with larger pieces though, it works great.

    Posted on

I already had a tea ball but it was too big average cup sizes. This size is perfect for a small or medium cup of tea.

    Posted on

I love these stainless steel tea infusers. Webstaurant credited me for 4 of them because they came totally smashed and flattened in the box. Would recommend them if they can package them a little better.

from Ivory Road LLC Posted on

I make a lot of black tea and wasn't expecting much from this little ball because black tea leaves tend to be very finely grounded. It did well in containing the powder and was fun to use. It;s also nice for infusing spices in a pitcher of drinks.

    Posted on

This tea ball is so fun. The price is great for the product. It's not the best quality but it works great for home use.

from Oak Hill Bulk Foods, Inc. Posted on

This is by far my favorite tea infuser. One of the many reasons is no matter how fine pieces in your loose tea are.... They're not getting out of this ball. The ball stays fully submerged with a chain attached that comes up and hooks to the edge of your cup for easy retrieval.... Lastly, a pretty great reason being extremely easy cleanup..... The ball splits completely in half when unlatched.... OH and at the price.... who wouldn't love it??

    Posted on

We serve loose leaf teas and these small, personal tea balls are cute and sturdy. The clip actually holds the ball closed and the side hook, of course, makes for easy removal of the ball when the tea is done steeping.

from Milam Street Coffeehouse & Bakery LLC Posted on

Great value. Currently using to steep single cup of tea but could easily be used for spices and cooking. For this price I can see it being sold for retail in a tea shop as well.

    from Dorpare Posted on

This is a cheap, yet decent quality tea ball infuser. I haven't had any real problems with mine so. It does what's it's supposed to do.

This tea infusers are great! They are larger than expected, but are very sturdy and seem like they'll last through many uses! They worked great for our Leather "Teacup Companion" Holsters!

    from Versalla Posted on

A simple and effective way to brew tea. The construction is fairly poor, but for the price, is what you would expect. We have problems with the bags coming open and needing to be taped. The metal has often bent on the first use. Luckily, the cost is low enough that it is a case of you get what you pay for.

these tea ball infusers were ok i ordered them with an order i had already placed they are a little flimsy but for the price i cant complain

Does a pretty good job keeping the teas in while steeping but some leaves escape because of being too fine. A little bit of sediment ends up in the final product but just make sure the tea being used is larger.

While some tea balls are trendy, these are our old stand by option. They do a great job and are easy to clean. The mesh is pretty fine so even some smaller loose leaf teas are good with this product. I wouldn't use it for Rooibos tea, though.

from Scribbles Coffee and Company Posted on

i wasn't very happy with these tea balls. They did arrive in good condition as does everything I order from Webstraunt Store and the price was good, But they turned out to be quite a disappointment.Put out in a retail setting, the packages would open and I would find the loose tea balls in the basket. They also dont fasten well and sometimes open spilling the contents into the cup of hot water. The metal is soft so they bend pretty easily. So i gave them away with some orders, but I will not order them again.

Perfect for restaurants , the Stainless Steel Tea Ball Infuser from Update International is the perfect size for individual cups or small tea pots. This tea ball is made entirely from high-quality stainless steel for maximum durability and features a short chain to easily hang and retrieve it from the cup or kettle. For proper use and ideal flavor, only fill the tea ball half full of tea leaves. This allows the leaves enough room to expand and steep properly.

Good product for holding loose leaf teas, etc. I prefer basket style strainers, but for service in a cafe, these look nice and are easy to serve.

from Mike's Mindful Plate Posted on

Not only is this great for loose tea, I use it to infuse ground ginger for a homemade ginger tea. Get fresh ginger, peel and crush either with a mortar and pestle or food processor. Then add honey to taste. I make a huge batch and store in the refrigerator - it keeps for a long time. When ready to use, scoop a couple teaspoons or so (your taste) into the infuser, close and steep in boiling water for a few minutes. Enjoy! PS: I'd give this product full marks if it had arrived as it should. When I received it, the hook at the end of the chain and it's tricky to attach to a cup handle.
