This large 30 oz. shaker tin makes up the two-piece or Boston Shaker which is essential in shaking cocktails.You can shake cocktails calling for ingredients, such as citrus or fruit juices, eggs, or dairy. The metal is extremely durable and doesn't break like some of the two-piece shakers you find with pint glasses. In addition, you simply put a Hawthorne strainer on top of the large tin to strain out the cocktail, holding back ice and any pieces of fruit, herbs, etc.

I can see other uses for this cup as it's a good all-around cup. My only qualm is that the sticker on the bottom use as an adhesive which is very hard to remove and I think I've run into this issue before with other parts or the sticker should have an intrusive that doesn't leave a residue on the product

It gets the job done and will leave you with chilled hands. I still keep these around because they don't break and only way I'll ever need to replace it is if I lose it. I prefer the one with plastic coating over this.

Bought this item for non-business-class use in a private party I was throwing where we had a bevy of bartenders present. In general it's a solid piece and get's the job done exactly as you would expect at a great price point. Knocked it a star because it has some fairly sharp top edges which can make muddling a bit painful. Works with a standard pint glass to form a seal for shaking.
