Reviews for Lancaster Table & Seating Grey Fabric Folding Chair with 2" Padded Seat

I purchased these chairs for use in my home for guests because I wanted to provide the extra comfort of the 2 inch thick foam seat and I thought the 300 Lb capacity would allow them to last a long time. In the first two days of use, 3 of the 4 chairs broke through the seat (see pictures). I assume that either the particle board seat is exceptionally weak, or perhaps there was some sort of manufacturing defect? I spoke to my guests and they didn’t treat them particularly roughly, nor are they particularly large people, and in 20ish years of hosting, those folks haven’t broken any other folding chairs. I now know to specifically look for seats that have a metal base, instead of pressed wood.

very uncomfortable chair- padding is hard and cannot sit up straight in the chair. Our choir was very disappointed and not one person was able to sit comfortably in these chairs. Wish we could return them and start over.

This chair appears to be sturdy and it is comfortable. Recommend for purchasing by others.

These chairs are super nice! Just exactly as pictured! The fabric is nice and they are very comfortable. We ordered them for a crafter's group of older ladies who were tired of sitting on metal chairs! They love them! They came individually plastic wrapped 2 to a box.
