The 7" wooden lobster and crab mallet is super cheap but very effective on open crab. The mallet is great for blue crab and easily pops the shells open.
These mallets are great for lobster or crab boils. They do the job and are sturdy enough to last through multiple uses. Great lobster mallet
I actually used these for easter chocolate eggs. I filled the eggs with candy and treats and had the kids smash them open with these mallets.
These are a great buy! We are using them for other purposes other than seafood! But the quality and price point are much better than another than else we have seen on the market!
Paisley from Paisley’s Treasures again! Another winning product from your website! These mallets are inexpensive, but are not cheaply made! They are lightweight, and ample sized! They are sturdily made and hold up well.
This mallet has a nice, natural look to it and a sturdy construction. While it's primarily designed for opening seafood, it's also useful for cracking stubborn nuts.
great little hammer for crush toppings for pretzel rods we coat in chocolate like the durability and easy to use will be back for more
What a nice sturdy strong 7 inch long wooden lobster or crab mallets it’s really great nice solid piece of wood the nice smooth finish
This wooden mallet is used for cracking open crab and lobster shells. We do recommend handwashing this mallet because it is made of wood and a dishwasher could damage the wood. If you are planning a seafood feast or you own a restaurant that serves lobster and or crabs this is a valuable and inexpensive product for you to own.
An effective tool that we use to crush ingredients such as whole sandwich cookies into bits and pieces. While not the traditional use of this product, it serves us for what we need it for.
Only one came slightly cracked when shipped. Cheapest prices around good overall quality. I would purchase again if needed more supplies for our next seafood party.
Crab smash! Great for smashing some crab if you want to get messy, but I often prefer to use the lobster crackers since it tends to fly around a little less, but not as much fun!
Talk about a cool mallet!! This seven inch wooden lobster and crab mallet is tough. This little gem’s uses are endless with the durability to match. I even used it to tenderize chicken for my famous chicken parm. I have no complaints, this is great!!
We had a seafood cajun party and I ordered these more for decoration. Once we received it, we spread it out on the table for the "look" but our guests actually used it!
7" wooden lobster/crab mallet! This is an awesome wooden mallet. This is used for seafood but kids love to play order in the court. So after dinner they get to be judge!
while not a particularly glamorous tool by any stretch, when it comes to hitting things and cracking them open, this works as it should. lobster, crab, nuts, etc. anything with a hard shell, really.
Very happy with the Lobster/Crab Mallet. The quality is very good and the price is very reasonable. Would definitely purchase again and I highly recommend this product.
Great wooden mallet for cracking lobsters or crabs, it works as it should, it is built well for the size, and could even crack eggs.
Item arrived well packed and exactly as pictured here. It is a wooden mallet with fairly heavy head perfect for crushing shells of shellfish. The head seems well attached making it a sturdy product.
I absolutely love this product! This 7" wooden lobster / crab mallet is ready sturdy! I hit table very hard to see strength and it held up. Definitely will crush some shellfish!
I very, very rarely get the chance to eat lobster or crab, and I never get the chance to prepare it myself, so I've been using this a light duty meat mallet. I think it works well.
We purchased these drab mallets originally for our crab leg feasts but have found hem to be perfect also for cracking fresh assorted nuts without making the nuts as nut crackers do. Very light weight perfect product and very versatile.
This is a small but sturdy wooden mallet. I actually use this for crushing up pretzels and other things to use as toppings on ice cream.
I've been searching for a crab hammer for a while, and I found this one and am so happy. It's a fantastic price, good quality, a good size, and quite strong. I'm excited to use it more.
I ordered these crab mallets for a family crab feast gathering. They are fantastic. They are sturdy and heavy weight and pack quite a wallop to the crab shell. They are just as advertised
This is a nice version of the classic lobster mallet. When hosting a crab bake, this is one of those items which you can't leave off the table along with newspaper and lobster crackers. The head of the mallet fits snugly into the handle and doesn't come loose. Overall, it's a great value.
You can use this to bang on the lobster or crab but it makes such a mess. What it does help you with is make it easier to break..
Perfect size for a normal size crab. It's a very sturdy tool that's going to be perfect for the crab legs. And perfect for keepsakes. You use it, you keep it.
While we do not offer these as a method for cracking crabs in our Cafe, we sell them in our market and a lot of people like to buy them to use at home for different kinds of crab and lobster. Price is great!
When I was growing up in Maryland these were standard for every table at every crab shack but at some point they seemed to have fallen out of favor, probably because people don't like to shell their own lobsters and crabs anymore. I still love them for catering and am going to order more.
Well, you could use these for crab - if your wife wasn't a vegan - or you could use the 7" wooden Mallet for crushing ice cream sundae toppings like we do.
I also use the 7" Wooden Lobster / Crab Mallet  to crush cashew nuts to put on ice cream. Simply put cashews in a bag and give them a whack until you get the consistency you like. But not too hard or you can break the bag.
Excellent product. Was shipped timely in a manner. This was for a large crab feast. The product was of great quality and at a great price
Decent wooden mallet. I would recommend metal, not wood. This isn't too well finished, either. It gets the job done, though, and for the price, I really can't complain.
When it comes to whacking lobster, this does the job in spades. These are cheap and very economical. They aren't much to look at, but you don't need a work of art to bash exoskeletons. These get the job done.
Perfect for crab feasts, which is what I use them for, they held up well and the heads didn't come flying off. Very good quality,.
You can use this 7" Wooden Lobster / Crab Mallet for lobster and crab, Is small enough to fit into our pegboard holder, or a drawer. Great price.
Good, heavy-enough mallet to break lobster, crab and other shellfish without shattering it. Nicely made of natural wood. Handles well. And the price is just awesome.
This is great for breaking up large amounts of crab legs or lobster claws. Around the holidays, we use these all the time!!
These are really nice to have. Especially for the asthetics of a seafood restaurant. The only thing is you have to be careful how you wash them. A few times through the dish machine and they loosing life quick.
a staple item for any crab lover. Cheap and reuseable. I wash them and donate them to schools to make crafts! 2 uses so far!
This is a nice mallet, very similar to the ones you see in famous crab shacks in Maryland. I will be buying more for seafood parties. Great value for the money!
You can use this for lobster and crab, OR you can use it to hammer your mixers loose parts back into shape...which is why I bought it. works great! And is small enough to fit into our pegboard holder.
