Build out your selection of specialty coffees while supporting female growers when you purchase this PERC Colombia El Tambo whole bean coffee! This single origin coffee is sourced from ASMUCAFE, a women-run collective of coffee farmers and landowners in the Cauca region of Colombia with a mission of empowering women in the coffee industry and contributing to their local communities. This coffee is made up of Castillo and Caturra coffee varietals grown at 1,850 - 1,900 meters above sea level in a cool mountain climate that's perfect for cultivating unbeatable coffees! After they're harvested, these coffee beans are washed processed to remove the fruit and give this coffee a clean flavor in the cup. PERC roasts these Colombian beans to a medium roast level to bring out their depth of flavor and add rich roasty notes to their profile. The final product is a supremely balanced coffee with fruity and floral notes of honey crisp apple, cherry, and orange blossom and rich undertones of brown sugar and butterscotch. With a rich and heavy body, El Tambo will be an unforgettable addition to your cafe's menu!

These coffee beans are left whole, allowing you to grind them as fine or coarse as you want to suit your menu's needs. Because it flows more quickly than other coffees, PERC recommends giving El Tambo a finer grind to start for both drip coffee and espresso to really let the beans' character shine. This super versatile coffee is great for a variety of prep methods! To really highlight its full body, try preparing El Tambo in an AeroPress to capitalize on its depth and complexity. It's also great for pulling espresso shots loaded with caramel sweetness! Serve El Tambo espresso black or use it to craft creamy barista drinks that customers won't be able to resist snapping photos of. It's also great for making pour over coffee, whether you prepare it in a single-serve pot or in your commercial brewer. Your customers will love the mellow sweetness this coffee delivers in a pour over preparation - it'll quickly become a go-to fave on your menu!

Let's spill the beans on PERC Coffee - it's not your run-of-the-mill joe. This Savannah, Georgia-based company started as a 2-person roasting operation in 2010 and quickly grew into a tight-knit team of coffee devotees. They're all about the farm-to-cup journey, sourcing top-notch beans straight from the growers, and giving you that caffeine kick with a conscience. Plus, they're invested in small-batch roasting, making sure your customers get that "ahh, this is amazing" moment in every cup. So, if you're running a cafe, restaurant, or anything in between, join the PERC party and serve up some seriously delicious, earth-friendly, and community-driven coffee!
