Ensure safety in your establishment with this Kidde hardwired interconnectable smoke and carbon monoxide alarm 21010408-N. This alarm uses an ionization sensor to detect smoldering and fast-flaming fires and an electrochemical sensor to detect carbon monoxide. It has a loud piezoelectric horn that emits 85 decibels at 10' away. This is paired with a voice warning system that says "fire!" or "warning! carbon monoxide" to alert patrons of the specific threat. It can also announce "carbon monoxide previously detected" when the unit has previously detected CO concentrations of 100 ppm or higher.

The intelligent sensor technology helps distinguish real threats to reduce nuisance alarms. This unit features a test / hush alarm control button which can silence any nuisance alarms for about 9 minutes. This allows you to silence your unit when it is triggered by non-hazardous sources. For your convenience, this alarm is interconnectable with up to 24 Kidde devices such as smoke, carbon monoxide, and heat alarms (sold separately).

This unit can operate in temperatures ranging from 40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It includes a red LED light that flashes when a dangerous level of smoke or CO is detected, and a green LED light to indicate that AC power is present. It conveniently chirps when it is nearing the end of its life, alerting you that the unit must be replaced. It comes with an end of life hush feature to temporarily silence this chirping. This provides you with plenty of time to install a replacement.

This unit is easy to mount on any wall or ceiling. It uses a hardwired 120V AC connection for operation, and it comes with a sealed 3V lithium-ion backup battery. This battery ensures that the smoke alarm will still work during power outages. It is tamper proof to prevent unauthorized removal, and it lasts for up to 10 years.
