Galaxy IMBL7 7" Light-Duty Variable Speed Immersion Blender - 2/5 HP

This blender was not even able to handle more than 10 minutes of work load with the whisk attachment before burning out the motor. I was mixing some very loose donut glaze and after a burning smell it just gave out. No joke, 10 minutes after I took it out of the box! Complete waste of money.

Unfortunately, I had the same issue other reviewers had. The motor worked fine but the blade locked up and it won't blend anymore. I rarely used it and only for soups and sauces with very little resistance. Probably got about a dozen uses out of it.

Worked great while it lasted. Bought this after burning up residential style immersion blenders in less than a year. Was hoping paying a little more would be worth it. Unfortunately this stopped working after 6 months of use. Mine the motor stopped working. Maybe time to spend a little more on a quality product.

This is a very poor quality immersion blender. After my second smoothie, the blade started to lock and make a weird noise. This was a banana blueberries smoothie. I was able to sort of unlock the blade and it kept working, although it sounded very forced bearing or something. I've used it some more on very light home duty work and today it gave up. As it turns, the blade shaft locked and this caused the very low-quality plastic gear to break from the shaft. The motor is OK but the actual shaft is locked. If I try to spin the blade it is locked. I will see if the company will grant any sort of guarantee. Hopefully, they will. Buy cheap, buy twice!!

Was great while it lasted, but after 5 months of use only on vinegarettes 3x per week (no resistance), the blade no longer spins and is locked up. Is there a warranty on this?

LOVE this Immersion blender. It’s definitely a HUGE step up from my kitchen aid 5” blender. Handles like a pro! A bit on the heavy side, & is very long. I had to move to a slighter shorter table to blend comfortably!!!. But I luv that you only have to push 1 button to get it started.,& that the shaft is removable for easy cleaning. POWER? - it’s a BEAST emulsifying 13-20qts of cold process soap. Soooo glad I purchased this baby!!!

I'm an experienced home cook. Until now, I've used a blender for soups and sauces--it's messy and hard to clean. Then I got this "light-duty" stick and it has me hooked. It came well packaged and the instructions are very clear. The term "light-duty" must refer to professional kitchen use. For my home kitchen, this is very powerful and makes quick/clean work of pureeing soups and sauces. The wand detaches very easily for cleaning. I highly recommend this for home cooks!

Motor burned out within 3 months.

Had this to mix tomato sauce for my pizza shop 2-3 times a week for less than 5 minutes each time. Lasted 7 months, just past 6 month warranty, and the motor burned out. Do not purchase.

What a piece of junk...I bought this blender about 8 months ago and just had to put it in the trash, I used it maybe twice a week to blend jam...I figured it was going to be trouble just by the way that it sounded when I first used it but carried on hoping for the best, the six month warranty of course is no good so in the trash it went, DO NOT BUY!

Where's the "Okay-Ish" rating? Is that a 3? I purchased this immersion blender in September of 2022. Fast forward a year and a half. With gentle use... it smells hot, tires out, and stops. But, will ultimately finish the job when it cools down. Just over two years later, its dead. Burned up and completely not working. Let me describe gentle use. In my shop, we have a few condiments we do with routine and a few things we do with occasion: a peach vinaigrette, strawberry jam, tomato basil soup, egg custards, etc. We're not crushing up margaritas or even raw salsas. Used likely 2 to 6 times a week. So, lets say I've dropped a quarter or two in for every play. I have $5 wire wisk that has paid my mortgage. That makes this blender just okay-ish... Right?

Motor burned out within 15 minutes of taking this product out of the box. It could not handle blending 10 pounds of canned tomatoes, so I'm not sure what if anything it could be good for.

We bought the 7" Immersion blender in September of 2023, just 6 months ago. Six days out of it's warranty, and it is completely dead. I feel the need to mention, that we have been closed since December, so technically it has been in use for 2 months. I would highly suggest that you save your money.

The motor seems fine. The shaft seems to be the weak link for the Galaxy blender. The seal might last for one use, ten uses, or one hundred, but it will fail. This also presents a health risk as food residue will get caught in the seal and will not wash out. Food poison ing is very possible after food residue sits under the seal. I don't normally write reviews, but I felt the need in this case! The manufacturer should look into the seal assy. and find a solution before someone gets very ill.

I’m giving 2 stars only because the price gor this product is very low compares to other blenders. I have this one replaced once, both blenders has wires broken within 3 months since we had them delivered. I’ll try something else this time, hopefully is going to last longer

On first use blending soup, there was a burning smell. This just didn't have the power to break down a thicker soup. Very disappointed that Webstaurant wouldn't offer a refund or help submit a warranty claim because I apparently used the blender improperly. Based on other reviews, I thought this would work for our needs, but I found a different blender that blows this one away.

This is a terrible machine. It lasted 5 minutes blending a simple sauce and then the motor burned out. It will not turn back on. Total junk. DO NOT ORDER this product. I have been in the hospitality business and have opened 36 restaurants in my career. I have not had a product malfunction like this...ever. I am trying to return it, been told "no" due to date of purchase. I had some delays in opening and am now testing food. I expected to have working equipment that I purchased from WRS. If you read a few of the other reviews, you will read that I am not the only one with this issue with this product. Save yourself some time and frustration and remove this blender from your cart immediately.

Had this for less than 6 months and it is already dead. Don't buy it!

We ordered this product 2 months ago. It is already broken.

We have purchased 2 of these on 2 different occasions and both died and stopped working in about a month each. The great thing is webstaurantstore has been wonderful with handling the return and refund process otherwise it would of been more frustrating, But the product is not worth the purchase.
