4th Shift Material Handler / Equipment Operator - $21.04/hr

We are looking for reliable, skilled applicants with a focus on teamwork and safety to join our rapidly growing company as a Material Handler (Equipment Operator). We are currently hiring for multiple shifts for our Bloomsburg Distribution Center, which is a temperature-controlled distribution facility.  

Basic Overview:

Warehouse Material Handlers/Equipment Operators are responsible for efficiently and accurately picking, prepping, packing, and shipping out customer orders while maintaining quality and speed to ensure customer orders are processed in a timely and secure manner. This position may require work at elevated heights up to 30ft. In this position, you may be expected to be cross trained in picking, packing, consolidation, truck stacking, and commons depending on business need. Warehouse Material Handlers are given extensive training for success in their position. You will be expected to be fast-paced and attentive to detail, willing to work hard with a good attitude, and able to embrace change. As a Warehouse Material Handler/Equipment Operator, you will:

• Safely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment to carry out job duties to ensure a safe work environment
• Pull warehouse stock to fulfill orders as efficiently and accurately as possible.
• Consolidate items for orders in a timely manner to ensure that customers receive orders accurately. 
• Packing orders to ensure that customers receive orders intact in as short time frame and accurate as possible while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Downsizing packaging so that shipping costs are minimal without sacrificing the quality and insurance that the product will be delivered without damages to the customer.
• Bill and ship completed orders to the customer with provided warehouse software.
• Palletize and load finished shipments onto trailer with provided equipment.
• Meeting or exceeding department standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure a safe work environment 
• Abide by all forklift safety training (must go through our training and certification). 
• Report any forklift issues to ensure they are properly fixed by a trained technician. 
• Communicate any issues and report any accidents to supervisor immediately. 
• Keep work zone clean and orderly and help maintain a safe and clean work environment 
• Perform other duties and tasks not listed as requested by the shift manager 

You must be able to meet the following basic qualifications: 

• Must be comfortable with heights up to 30ft
• Push and pull up to 150lbs 
• Lift and carry up to 50 to 75lbs 
• Constantly bend, reach, climb and stand throughout shift 
• Work a full shift of 12 hours.  
• Follow all codes of conduct, safety parameters, productivity, and quality standards, as well as attendance policies.  

Language Skills:

• We require a business proficiency in the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Shift Schedule: 

• Friday– 6:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Saturday– 6:30 AM-7:00 PM
• Sunday– 6:00 AM-6:30 PM

Starting wage is $21.04/hr with raise potential up to $.88 every 6 months
