The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the day to day operations and is responsible for the selecting of warehouse stock by means of safely utilizing warehouse equipment so that customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner, stock put away, replenishing pick bins as needed, completing bin to bin transfers, and other stock functions. He/She should be constant communication with the supervisor/team leader on duty. He/She should have knowledge in product information, warehouse procedures, and other expectations assigned by the manager/ team leader. The Warehouse Material Handler should be able to identify and correct issues with items while addressing them with the appropriate channels. He/She will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the dock, aisles, and immediate surroundings. He/She will hold themselves to the highest company standards and should be in good safety standing. The Warehouse Material Handler duties include, but are not limited to:

Correcting issues when problems arise
Identify problematic areas and develop measures to correct issues
Maintain contact with supervisor/team leader to address reoccurring concerns, dock operations or employees
Teach new employees in a uniform manner to ensure consistency throughout employees
Continually evolve stocking efficiency by taking initiative to challenge past procedures to ensure maximum productivity within the team
Ensuring rules, speed, and accuracy are at their highest standard
Daily housekeeping tasks/ clean as you go are completed daily
Successful training and certification in all machines used within the warehouse
Work closely with the supervisor to ensure the highest quality of work demanded by the WebstaurantStore
Miscellaneous job-related tasks at management’s request

Skills/Abilities:

Must be able push and pull up to 150lbs
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 to 75lbs
Must be able to constantly bend, squat, reach, climb, and stand throughout shift

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 5:00 pm - 1:30 am
