3rd Shift Quality Assurance Specialist ($17.25-$21.75 p/hr)

We are looking for reliable, skilled applicants with a focus on teamwork, safety, and accuracy to join our rapidly growing company as a Quality Assurance Specialist.  

Basic Overview:  Quality Assurance Specialists are responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our company expectations.  They work with various departments to communicate issues and help determine root causes of problems.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Support receiving team by ensuring inbound product is received accurately

• Verify correct quantity and type of product is stocked in correct location 

• Check outbound packages to ensure customer orders are accurate and packed to standard

• Accurately and efficiently document quality issues using computer programs and handheld devices

• Provide feedback to team leaders and managers regarding quality

• Learn a variety of warehouse processes and programs

• Work with Inventory Control/QA managers to continuously improve QA processes

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Safely operate an order picker to ensure a safe work environment (must go through our training and certification).

• Perform other duties and tasks not listed as requested by the QA/ Department Manager

Position Hours:  

• Monday - Thursday 7:00 PM to 5:30 PM

• Compensation: Starting rate at $17.25 p/hr. $0.25 increase after 60 Days. Potential up to a $0.88 cent raise every 6 months, dependent on performance

Skills/Abilities:

• Must have a passion for quality and prioritize attention to detail

• Must be able to communicate clearly and tactfully with people with a wide variety personalities and backgrounds

• Must be able to thoroughly investigate issues and understand root causes of problems

• Must be able to use a variety of computer programs and equipment

• Must have a the ability to operate an order picker in a safe manner

• Must be able to work at heights of 40 feet

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to constantly bend, reach, stand, squat, lift and twist throughout entire shift

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
