Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Baking Flour: Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Learn how to make delicious gluten free oatmeal cookies with Bob's Red Mill 1 to 1 baking flour by watching this video!

Gluten free oatmeal cookies: In one mixing bowl, add 2 cups of Bob's Red Mill 1 to 1 baking flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and whisk together. In a mixing bowl add 1 cup (2 sticks) of butter, 3/4 cup brown sugar, and 3/4 granulated sugar and mix together using your dough hook attachment. Add in 1 egg while continuing to mix, and then another once the first is fully beaten into the mixture. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla and turn off your mixer once the vanilla is completely mixed in. Next, add in 1/2 of the dry ingredients, mix together, and then add in the remaining 1/2. Continuing to mix, add in 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Turning off the mixer again, add 3 cups Bob's Red Mill gluten free oats, 2 cups raisins, and mix with a spoon. Scoop and place your dough balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 16-18 minutes.

    One of the only flours we use for gluten free substitution. It is a very good mix of flours and works well for sauce and baking applications.

    Bob’s makes some wonderful products. This is a great flour to bake with. The 1 to 1 ratio makes recipes easy. Keep in mind to always read labels and ingredients. Xanthan gum is a great addition to baking but may not be what you need so make sure you get the blend with or without it. Bobs is a trusted brand at our kitchen.
