My business is at a high elevation; does this change anything when I order gas cooking equipment?

Many gas equipment manufacturers need to make adjustments to the equipment so it operates correctly at elevations over 2,000 feet. Sometimes we can special order from the manufacturer and have your cooking equipment delivered ready-to-go, but in cases where your unit is in stock and waiting to ship, you’ll need to have a qualified service technician come to your location and alter your unit at the time of installation so that it is compatible with a higher elevation. Contact our Special Orders team prior to placing your order, and we will let you know what will work best for the equipment you are planning to purchase.

I see that this gas unit is "field-convertible." What does that mean?

Gas equipment is factory-set to use either natural gas or liquid propane. Field-convertible equipment allows your unit to accept the other gas type (so for example a natural gas unit could be converted to use liquid propane), but this conversion must happen before it is used.

For safety reasons, a qualified service professional should perform the conversion. Your equipment’s warranty may require that such conversions be done by a professional, and failure to do so may void warranty coverage. We recommend that you communicate with your installer to also arrange for the gas type conversion at the time of installation.

The APW Wyott GCB-36S Workline radiant 36" charbroiler has three 30,000 BTU "U" burners to allow for fast start-up and heat recovery so you can cook delicious burgers, chicken, fish, and kabobs any time you need them! Thanks to three snap action gas valves that turn 180 degrees and grates that can be adjusted to flat or sloped positioning, this charbroiler gives you ultimate control over your grilling. Two reliable safety pilots offer long-lasting service and can be lit without removing the front panel for added convenience!

The GCB-36S 36" Workline charbroiler's thick stainless steel construction with aluminized steel sides and back panel is easy to clean and will stand tough against heavy use. Back and side splashes help protect your walls and countertops from grease splatter, while self-cleaning stainless steel radiants, removable grates, and a grease collection pan make cleaning a breeze! Heavy duty 4" legs, metal knobs, and a stainless steel control panel offer additional durability and functionality.
